About Connie :
Following our dreams, my husband, Robert and I moved from Texas to South Fork with our three boys in the mid-1990s. We were blessed to own and manage Goodnight's Lonesome Dove for 11 years. After selling Lonesome Dove, we wanted to stay in this beautiful area and help others fulfill their dreams. Robert and the boys are continuing to do just that by building spectacular homes here in the area. I joined Land Properties, Inc., which has been fulfilling the recreational and lifestyle dreams of its customers for 25 years.

About South Fork, CO :
Once a base camp for logging and mining, South Fork is one of Colorado's newest towns, incorporated in May 1992. With the new Rio Grande Golf and Fishing Club and the development of Wolf Creek Ski Area, a little change is happening in South Fork. But what will never change is the breathtaking views that South Fork offers with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east, the San Juan Mountains to the west and the Rio Grande National Forest (the largest national forest in Colorado) surrounding us with nearly 2 million acres.
With the Gold-Medal waters of the Rio Grande River running through it, South Fork offers trout fishing at its best. The area is covered with lakes, streams and trails just waiting to be explored. The drive on the Silver Thread Scenic Byway leads you from South Fork all the way to the headwaters of the Rio Grande close to the Continental Divide.
South Fork and the neighboring towns of Creede and Lake City (both historical mining towns) host numerous festivals, street dances, parades and events throughout the year. The Creede Repertory Theatre is well known for its plays and art shows.
This mountain area is unique and South Fork is a community that offers a unrivaled lifestyle with too many year-round recreation opportunities to mention.
Come for a visit and stay for a lifetime!
